Bonnie Sawdey has over 29 years of experience with Crawford & Company®. In 2016, Sawdey became senior vice president of human resources and chief people officer. She was named Benefit Manager of the Year in 2015 by Business Insurance magazine. She is also a 2018 recipient of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s HR Hero Award.
Sawdey is responsible for all aspects of global human resources, including developing and executing people strategy, talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, total rewards, HRIS, and learning and development. In addition, she is a member of the global executive management team, reporting directly to Crawford® President & CEO – Harsha V. Agadi.
Throughout the years, Sawdey has held numerous positions within Crawford’s human resources department. She joined the leadership team in 1998 when she was promoted to vice president of corporate benefits. Since that time, she’s served on the company’s plan administration committee and as chairman of Crawford Cares, Inc. for over five years (a non-profit organization she helped form to assist Crawford & Company employees impacted by natural disasters). In this role, Sawdey also implemented Crawford’s Global Day of Service, which is a key program that helps deliver on the company’s mission to “restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities.
Sawdey holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources management from Georgia State University.
